JACK DIMERY (Sydney University)

Age: 24. NEAFL Games: 54.

Sydney University midfielder Jack Dimery will return to the NEAFL for the first time since 2014 this year when he begins a new chapter in his career with the Students.

The 24-year-old spent the previous nine years with the East Coast Eagles (three of which were in the NEAFL from 2011-2014), playing in over 250 club games and winning four AFL Sydney premierships.

Dimery’s 2016 season has many excited about his return to second-tier football, having won AFL Sydney’s Phelan Medal off 14 games, a premiership, best-on-ground for the Sydney AFL representative match against Canberra, as well as finishing sixth on Fox Footy’s The Recruit television show.

An elite runner with great work ethic and decision making ability, Dimery can play as both an inside and outside midfielder as well as set up play from half-back, where he is expected to shine for the Students in 2017.
