History

The NEAFL Most Valuable Player Award is presented to the player uniquely judged the best in the competition by a combination of umpire and coaches votes.


Each year the player who kicks the most goals in the regular season wins the Leading Goalkicker Award.


The Andrew Ireland Medal is presented to the player judged best-on-ground in the NEAFL Grand Final.


The NEAFL Rising Star is awarded to the most promising young talent in the NEAFL competition.


After each season NEAFL officials name a Team of the Year consisting of the best performing players during the home-and-away rounds.


All the NEAFL Finals results since the competition's inception in 2011.


Since the NEAFL formed in 2011 there has been 59 players drafted to AFL clubs.


The North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) was formed in 2011 to provide an elite second-tier Australian Rules competition for reserve sides from Australian Football League (AFL) clubs in New South Wales and Queensland.
